女主的左耳长期残留铁轨轰鸣，人造耳蜗在夜间持续故障，使她将城市噪声误听为佛音。她因物质灼伤而形成的沉静被误读为清净；城市疲乏不断在她体内累积，却被他者投射为某种“超越”。他修持《往生要集》的老僧，将净土理解为绝对脱离欲望的存在。他即将入定，却始终无法越过最后的阈限，等待着某种“接引”的迹象。在一次寺庙的偶然相遇中，老僧将她的倦怠误认为极乐界的静相。
The female protagonist’s left ear retains a persistent railway rumble, and her cochlear implant malfunctions at night, causing her to mistake the city’s noise for Buddhist chants. The stillness formed by her material exhaustion is misread as tranquility; urban fatigue accumulates within her, yet others project it as a form of “transcendence.” The elderly monk, who practices the Essentials of Rebirth in the Pure Land, understands the Pure Land as a state of absolute detachment from desire. He is on the verge of entering deep meditation but can never quite cross the final threshold, waiting for a sign of “guidance.” In an accidental encounter at the temple, the monk mistakes her weariness for a vision of the Pure Land’s serenity.
